I really love to talk about cooking and how wonderful

                  Japanese food is!

The sounds food make as we cook and eat; the smells,

the textures, the presentation and the taste are all unique

                  and intriguing in Japanese food.

I am currently living in China and am learning a lot about

the similarities and differences between Japan, China

and Korea. Particularly, I have found that there are similar

words in Japanese, Chinese and Korean for a style of

noodle.  In Japanese we have “ramen” style noodles,

which are similar to “raamien” in Chinese, and “ramyon”

                  in Korean.

I’d love to chat about food with you here in the chat room!

I think that it is very important to learn as much as

possible about the culture and customs of a country

you might be visiting.  Even in countries that are physically

close together such as China and Japan, there are many

                  differences between our cultures.

Because FUJI ONLINE SCHOOL teachers are located

all over the world, not only can we offer you language

lessons, but also make you aware of cultural differences.

I hope your experience with us will help you discover

something new and that you will truly enjoy learning

                  Japanese.
